The Centre for Rural Health Research is committed to the knowledge translation process of our research findings. We understand the importance of communicating our results to our funders, research partners, decision makers, and rural communities.
For certain research projects, we produce both a Community Report and a more traditional Research Report. We also synthesize and produce policy-relevant research to inform rural health service planning in a timely, user-friendly way through the Applied Policy Research Unit (APRU).
In addition, we develop Policy Briefs for our decision making partners. These briefs provide a concise, evidence-based snapshot of the research findings. We also publish proceedings of the symposiums we host. These proceedings are thorough summaries of the discussions and presentations from each meeting.
Finally, Drs Kornelsen and Grzybowski facilitate workshops for junior investigators and present at local, national, and international conferences.
